Chennai Express enters the 100 cr club in four days. It earned Rs 103.50cr in 4.5 days from indian theaters after the deduction of tax. Chennai Express collects the highest paid preview of Rs 6.18 cr. On the first day it collected Rs 29.37 cr which is the second highest collection where as Ek Tha Tiger is in the first with a collection of Rs 30.72 cr.
On the second day it broke the record by collecting Rs 26.64 cr beating RA.One which had collected Rs 26.64 cr. On the third day it again broke the record by collecting Rs 29.21 cr beating YJHD which had collected Rs 22.44 cr and on the fourth day it collected Rs 12.10 cr. Chennai Express has crossed Rs 200 cr in just 6 days breaking the record of Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger which took more than ten day to cross Rs 200 cr. And Chennai Express continues to collect more and more.
